However it is characteristic of the zeal of the just to be indignant when they see the righteousness of divine judgments perverted by false doctrine. So Job consequently shows the greatness of his zeal in two ways: first, by a kind of disturbance of the mind. "Vicious anger blinds the eye, but zealous anger troubles the eye," as Gregory says. …
