And what? Pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest. When we have a deficiency, we should have recourse to God, since the office of preaching is obtained only by prayers. For the one who sends laborers is the Lord. Hence he says in John (4:38): "I have sent you." And he asks that he be asked, so that merit be accumulated by us, as we pray for the salvation of others. …
