He sets out also the manifestation of what was foretold: the things which you have heard, foretold to you by me, see, them fulfilled: as we have heard, so have we seen (Ps 48:8). 887. Second, he assigns the reason for the hiding of other future things, first setting out the hiding itself, as was said, I foretold certain future things, but other future things are kept, that is, in my foreknowledge, which you know not, because I have not revealed them to you.
