Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? And since faith does not conquer alone, but together with the one who possesses it, John adds: "And who is it that overcomes the world, except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" But who is this Jesus? "He who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ". (1 Jn. 5:6)
