Fourth, respect of persons is excluded in that which follows: And he was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee, namely to all without distinction: Matthew 9: "Jesus went about all the cities and towns, teaching in their synagogues." This it befits a good preacher to do, according to that passage in Proverbs 5: "Let your fountains be dispersed abroad, and in the streets divide your waters"; and Isaiah 32: "Blessed are you who sow beside all waters."
