The text continues, "While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said: The Chaldeans" (who were fierce and powerful) "formed three companies" to emphasize how strong they were, so that he cannot hope for revenge or recovery of his lost goods. The next text shows what he lost saying, "and made a raid upon the camels and took them and slew the servants with the sword. I alone escaped to tell you."
