Think not, he says that we conceal the country, or the nature of the death. …
Theophylact of Ohrid
"By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth." Do not think, he says, that we conceal His homeland; no, we also declare His homeland; and that is not all: we also confess His sufferings and proclaim His resurrection. "Whom you crucified." He uttered such a word as was able to terrify the Jews, because, as you might imagine, what a blow is dealt to them by these words?

The name in this place means the reputation that is held about him and the glory. As the Psalmist also says when he speaks: "How wonderful is your name in all the earth!"
